I've tried herbs like Kava Kava which have done nothing to improve my anxiety. Has anyone had drastic improvements with anxiety with dietary changes or supplements?

I have been trying to notice if ANYthing I do makes a difference, and I think the following things help, but it's frustrating how subtle the effects are when I'm up against major anxiety.
Calcium/magnesium supplements, B complex, niacinamide; kava kava, valerian root, passionflower, hops. Staying away from caffiene, especially coffee. I have a list of food recommendations which includes things I love to eat when I'm feeling good, but the challenge for me is that it is really hard to eat when I'm feeling anxious. Let me know if you'd like me to post that list.
I'll be interested in seeing what others have to say about this too...

Lllucy, I'd love a list of those foods. Not only have I become a Vegan, I've also become a raw-foodist, although not %100. I am very interested in nutrition.
Worried, I've been eating sesame seeds lately. They have loads of calcium.

ok hope this is not too lengthy! 03/12/03 i t-boned a van that ran a red light. seperated my pelvis 6 1/2". i took the gas tank off with my groin. my upper half hit the van. since the accident i lost my job of 5 years because i was not at 100% health wise. can't sleep so my family doctor put me on rimeron 30mg.helped but i was getting depressed so i went to see a psycologist. he put me on 4mg gabitril and 12,5mg paxil. after a couple of weeks i and evreone else noticed i wouldn't go outside, and was not motivated to do anything.went back to the doctor and told him how i was feeling and he took me off rimeron and doubled the gabitril and paxil. i'm also on a testosterone patch since the accident.after 2 weeks i threw away the gabitril and the paxil. it's been three days but i feel better already. i do have a shot fuse though.what should i do doc?
