I ate some spaghetti with tomato meat sauce and I purged it. It was all basically the same colour, but then as I got towards the end it got brighter red. I didn't taste any blood. I'm wondering whether it was the ketchup I ate earlier, but the thing is, I didn't eat a lot of ketchup, maybe only a teaspoonful. So now I'm a bit freaked out.
Anyone have any experience with this? If it was blood, do you think I will be OK as long as I don't purge for a while? I don't have any pain or anything, is it possible it was blood?

Hi Deneb,
I'm glad you're okay and that if it was blood, it wasn't a large amount of it. As you probably know one of the most dangerous risks of purging is hemorrhaging. Please tell your pdoc how often you are doing this, okay?
