I'm one of those who gets overstimulated by fish oil, resulting in insomnia, nervousness, etc., even at recommended doses.
I'm just wondering if anyone has forced a higher dose on themselves and developed a tolerance to these side effects.
I think I found one report like this in the archives, but not sure if one case is enough.

There have been times on the fish oil when I've been quite calm, and so have questioned whether it's the fish oil, but on the whole I do suspect it as the culprit. I've also tried high EPA/DHA ratios with the same result.
I have read here that the addition of GLA may help but i need to give it a try for myself.

My understanding is that some people do not do well withfish oil and that Evening Primrose or Borage is better.
I do not recall why this is so.
