Tom are you taking this due to a deficiency or are you just trying it out?
I had a negative response to DHEA too. I might have been mildly anxious fro it but the acne I deveoled within a few days of using it really put me off.
I have a bottle of pregenalone but am unsure about taking it yet.
Peace,
Kaye

It is a mistake to assume that because they are hard to tell apart by chemical structure, that they also have similar function. As far as their effects go, they are very different.
One immediate effect of pregnenolone is to stimulate the same dopaminergic reward pathway as does morphine. However, a chronic effect is to downregulate GABA-A receptor sensitivity. I would assume there are numerous other effects, both primary and secondary, because that is a basic property of a hormone, to have huge effects at tiny doses. I think you're playing with fire.

>Hey Larry,
This why I am not taking it. I bought it on a whim (it was cheap) and there it sits.
I learned that hard way that random messing around with hormones can have some really bad effects. At the same time I also experienced some remarkable benefits from messing with them so I am intrigued. Wish I could find a Dr. that knows what he is doing with them.
Peace,
Kaye
