Hello
I've read a little about how GABA has an inhibitory effect in the CNS. Do social anxiety sufferers usually have too little GABA?I tried GABA a few months ago and it had no effect but then I read that it requires help to get across the blood brain barrier.
How do picamilon and niacinamide compare for alleviating SA? Are there any other substances like these? How do they rate?
Thanks
sabre

Hi sabre,
you may want to have a quick look through the babble archives as there is some pretty useful comment about picamilon. If you do try it, I for one would appreciate some follow up if you'd be so kind as its something I've wanted to try for some time now but not yet got around to it.
Some people report modest success with a combo of magnesium and niacinimide. Could be worth a try as its easily obtainable and inexpensive.
