If you are interested in inositol, it can be bought at a better health / vitamin store. Sometimnes you can get it in combination with choline, together, they form lecithin, which if memory serves me, is good for cholesterol.

I've been helped very much by inositol. I just started taking it again after a hiatus and am once again noticing the positive effects. There are a few inositols out there. The form you want to take is myo-inositol. The brand I get is Jarrow Pharmaceutical Grade Crystalline powder from www.iherb.com, which has the best prices I've found for supplements on the web.
I take one tablespoon a day which works out to about 8G. Supposedly, it's good to take a little break from it. I'm not sure of the details, but something like every 2-3 months, take a week off.
This is the end of the thread.
