Much information is available about it's role with depression. Does anyone have info or (better) personal experiences of anxiety being lessened with the use of fish oils?
Anxiety is a real issue for me. Agoraphobia is also present.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
That feeling of being on a high state of alert is one of my big problems, so much so that it seriously interferes with my life.
I've recently tried a heabyish does of fish oil and it did seem to get rid of some of the anxiety but I seemed to feel a little doped up too. Still fully functional, just a little "spacey". I've not taken it now for 2 days and feel pretty decent.
My guess however is that the B6 and Zinc I'm taking is the main reason for the improvement, but its hard to say.
Sorry my answer doesnt tell you too much.......perhaps some B6 and zinc in combo is worth a try if you have not already tried it?

Anxiety is just h*llish... I was convinced (recently) my depressive symptoms were from "depression". I now think, as I did for a long time, that my depressive symptoms are from ill control of my anxiety symptoms. Everytime I try to use "better living via meds" for depression (ie:AD's) I realize my depression is made worse because my anxiety is through the roof.
I'm hoping to try to find SOME good answer for me.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
