Only the brand name Lamictal is effective lifting my mood/giving me motivation/helping with social anxiety but JHChrist the headaches I get every day are awful, as are the muscle tightness and ruminative anxiety.
It's the only thing in my current regimen helping with the above issues but my I woke with a headache that now is going to make me puke.
Deplin doesn't seem to help. Daily advil not an option, and propranolol doesn't do much anymore.
Any common experiences/suggestions?

i take lamictal, it helps somewhat with mood and not being so sparatic, lamotragine used to dull me out, i would tkae it and get this blunt controlled like mood, then after time that kinda went away and started working well for mood swings, and depression
i guess the options are over the counter pain reliver like tylenol or asprin, since you said ibuprofen doesnt work, naproxen. Only other thing i think of is migraine medications but those also work on the neurotransmitters, like maltex, and imitrex. They are serotonin agonsts. I don't know if they help with mood, or improve serotonin nuertransmission. But those are migraine medications, i'm not sure if they would help with lamictal headaches but that's just a thought

Be careful taking Delpin w/ Lamictal as it nullifies its effects. 2016 study (and they done followups since this unintentional discovery):
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26687300
NTERPRETATION:
Addition of lamotrigine to quetiapine treatment improved outcomes. Folic acid seems to nullify the effect of lamotrigine. CEQUEL should encourage clinicians and patients to consider lamotrigine for bipolar depression, but also to be aware that concurrent folic acid might reduce its effectiveness.

BTW - I know you took Marplan. Valdus has it available again (via Denmark import) if you call them. Not cheap and you have to pay out of pocket but I'm picking some up tomorrow at CVS. Nardil wasn't nearly as good to me for the year I used it to bridge the shortage. I just hope the denmark version is good.
