I've heard 3x daily, with meals. I don't know if that's true or not. Personally, I'm looking into 200mgs time release tablets...I'm thinking 1 AM, 1 PM...full day coverage, hopefully.

I'm not sure whether it will make much different, but nausea has been reported as a side effects of 5-HTP. Taking it with a bit of food may relieve this.

well, im thinking it will absorb okay with meals. and oh yah, i had some bad nausea when i took it this morning without food. i went ahead and bought Ginger Root at Walmart to help with the nausea if it happens again. I got this idea from a Pharmacist
a few years ago, and it has worked better for nausea
than anything else ive tried.
