Posted by sebastian flyte on November 13, 2013, at 6:09:50

in 6 months i've gained 45 lbs and without any exercise i am also now at 40(very strangely) stronger than i have ever been in both upper and lower body.

i discontinued for three weeks and nothing happened to my weight. discontinuing it the first time, a few years ago, i lost 20 lbs in 1 mo!

what's going on?

I think we forget that our physiology is not static....inside we are always changing. Your body today is not the same as it was 1 month ago, 6 months ago, 2 years ago, whatever.

There is so much about meds that we do not know. What we do know is only a smidgen of what there is to know, that we don't know. For example we know what receptors remeron blocks, and basic mechanics of it, but we have no clue what the impact is on this gene or that gene or this enzyme or that, or whatever, you know?

So whatever happened before, compared to now, will be hard to explain. Maybe someone else has more details.

I can't tell you what's going on. Most of the data docs rely on is from the manufacturer, and they're just looking to get stuff approved and make money.

Isnt Remeron compared to pot in some circles? In that it causes "munchies" somehow? I dont smoke pot, just have seen this comparison on line.I remember reading that remeron is the closest pill to marijuana(affects same way in brain?)
