only thing i googled is that it can cause siezures, wellbutrin can do that, but it looks like amoxapine is diffrent.....for wierd reason it says don't drink alcohol on it.....but i drink on all my meds, its fine, but still thats the only main warnings i found out
and of course all the main warnings on antidepressants are increase suicidal thoughts....it said that about this drug many times....still i take prozac and i've heard many bad stories of it too....

What are you most concerned about?
Amoxapine is a derivative of loxapine, the old antipsychotic. It acts like a tricyclic antidepressant with antipsychotic properties, and has been used in the past to treat psychotic depression. I am not aware of any dangers beyond those you would normally see with a tricyclic antidepressant or a first-generation (typical) antipsychotic. Cardiotoxicity (including heart-block) and EPS (including tardive dyskinesia) are possible with amoxapine.

Its cheaper than most atypicals. I read a study where they used higher doses for psychotic disorders. Worked about as well as risperidone, with about as many side effects (not saying a whole lot there).I wouldn't want to take it, personally, unless you have severe depression.
