i enjoy smoking, started when i was 17....but since then i have to clear my throught and then cough up yukky stuff[phym] and its usally nasty, but im just worried that infections in the lungs can happen, a while back i got so sick my lungs felt like they where hot iron, they burned and they felt as heavy as iron...i couldnt smoke for 4 days because of the infection or whatever it was....so im fine right now, but still the risk of infection again inside the lungs is there.....bronacitus or something? but its much worse when it gets bad...smoking is good when im bored, or when im studying...the nicotine increases concentration and focus...not like caffeine its vary indirect...also when im stressed nicotine has both stimulating effects, and relaxation effects depending on the situation. I have alburerol a thing they give people for ashma, where it opens the lungs to breathe correctly. I had to use it when i had severe bronicatus.
But i have to ask....is there anything to reverse or stop infections from happening in the lungs? like loads of vitamen C? or antibiotics....i can't take antibiotics regularly...they cause side effects....only when an infection is present is when i use it.
I just wished i could pull my lungs out and get a sponge and soap and wash them clean lol they need to come up with a inhalant that cleans the pores of the lungs....
but does anyone have any suggestion....and yes i know the first thing to come to mind is to stop smoking...but alternatives, or anything I would really appricate it....its ok if no one has a respnse...
thanks for reading...

This is your answer. Dude just go to an ecig store(not a gas station) and just try one and tell me if you aren't blown away.
Don't go down the same road smoking plant material with 4000 chemicals and hundreds of carcinogens. Cigs are the most effective killing machines ever devised.
Ecigs have none of that sh*t, they taste good, smell good and give you massive throat hits and vapor.
Your lungs feel that way because your body is trying to expel poison, that's why you cough.
I don't cough, wheeze, hock up garbage and I can breath and smell and taste again while still getting my nicotine fix using liquid that doesn't taste like a goats *ss. I smoked for 40 years!

I don't want to be one of those ex smokers that preaches because I did not want their opinion. But all of the major tobacco companies now market ecigs because they are losing customers.
I just participated in an online research study by researchers at Penn State. Many questions about my ecig / tobacco use etc.
The best thing to do is quit, I couldn't. But I found the best of both worlds. I'm grateful for that.

With me going on and on about ecigs it probably turns you off more than anything but I'll say one last thing. On a forum with 100,000 active members, after reading thousands of posts I haven't seen one person say, I felt so much better on cigarettes.
Sure it's best to quit. How's that going for you?

yea phil....i actually have 3 electronic ciggs sitting in my key jar in my room...have the charger for them too....i think im out of cartridges...but still some of them have juice in them.
Yea....well i don't know how to say it...i've smoked eciggs alot, there really cool because you can smoke them inside at meetings, maybe some classrooms in college. It's good...but something likes to get the actual "smoke" from a real cigg. I know its crazy....i smoke Menthols about maybe 10 a day...13 on bad day....it just smooothes either depression or anxiety over. Not quite like having a drink, or coffee....its much more mild and indirect....still its good.
I may just plug my eciggs up in the charger again. Try to limit down to 5 ciggs a day. I've been working out....some jogging and I am aware my lungs are not at 100percent....
yea didnt you said you have like some kinda special kinda ecigg...i forgot what it was called but i rerember you posted about it.

Advanced personal vaporizer or PV Personal vaporizer. Very long battery life, higher voltage for awesome throat hit, plumes of vapor, taste better and less expensive than a starter kit of cigalikes.
Many people struggle for 6 months going back and forth while others quit on the spot. Check it out but at least you're trying. I know how hard it is.
