Diet time

Posted by jono_in_adelaide on October 1, 2012, at 20:33:47

When i had my breakdown and dropped out of society for 18 months, i gained a mass of weight (about 35kg all up)

I'm 6'4, when I was well I weighed 95kg (at the top end of normal BMI for my height) and I looked and felt good
Last year I lost 20kg and have kept it all off, today I'm starting again, I want to drop another 10kg, maybe even 15 if I can.

Wish me luck!

Hey Jono, I lost weight during my breakdown, then gained it back plus 30lbs due to zoloft/remeron. I tapered off those after 2 yrs. then began my quest to lose weight. Its a long road. But I hike alot, which I love,so it hasnt been too difficult. I basically gave up sugar, watched my portions. Good luck.

Good luck, Jono!

I will be joining you once I feel better. Right now I just don't give a damn. I'm on the chocolate cookie/ice cream diet - it's great! You all ought to try it!! LOL

But once I feel better, I will be joining you J. I wish you the best of luck!

Good luck! I'm there with you. Trying to get rid of my Nardil weight. I'll be doing pretty good, then I will occasionally give in to my late night carb cravings and drive to Safeway at 2am to buy all the cookies, brownies and cupcakes I can see. Only have one pair of pants that fits me right now, so I have to do laundry every night.
