almost 4 weeks in, I'm left with just day time sedation now and memory issues. The daytime sedation I most likely will solve by using provigil with Nardil, or Vyvanse.
What is with my memory though? I have an education in accounting and finance and I'm having difficulty at times recalling things. I'll also be unable to recall WELL KNOWN facts. Like I'll forget book authors, forget what I might have been saying, and it's not placebo. It seriously is pissing me off and I would like to know what I can do to counter this. Will a stimulant be enough?
There should be no effect on muscarinic receptors and ACh, therefore I shouldn't be having memory issues.
I'm at 45 mg daily. Any ideas??

Memory is still being complete garbage. Someone must have thoughts on why this is impacting my memory. Is it just my depression that's taking a wear on my mind? It feels like my memory problems started when I started taking nardil though. Or maybe I was just incapable of thinking period, so I never worried about my memory. Now that I'm a little less depressed I'm thinking again but having issues with memory..

Gilmourr,
I may not be able to be of much help, but if I had to guess, I would say that your memory problems are most likely a result of the Nardil that you're taking, given the fact that they seemed to start around the time that you started the medication. I had some cognitive problems myself when I took the version of Nardil that Pfizer markets in the U.S. -- mostly problems with concentration and focus -- and these problems went away after I stopped taking Nardil, so I tend to think that based on my experience with the medication that Nardil can affect cognition. What's interesting is that I never noticed any cognitive problems when I took the Australian Nardil. The cognitive problems only occurred for me when I took Pfizer's Nardil. I'm not sure what accounts for this difference. The so-called inactive ingredients in the medication might play a role, but then again, they might not. All I can say is that when I took Pfizer's Nardil, cognitive problems were something that I experienced.
I'm sorry if I couldn't be of more help, and I wish you luck in finding a good explanation as to why Nardil might cause memory problems.
