Gilmourr,
I may not be able to be of much help, but if I had to guess, I would say that your memory problems are most likely a result of the Nardil that you're taking, given the fact that they seemed to start around the time that you started the medication. I had some cognitive problems myself when I took the version of Nardil that Pfizer markets in the U.S. -- mostly problems with concentration and focus -- and these problems went away after I stopped taking Nardil, so I tend to think that based on my experience with the medication that Nardil can affect cognition. What's interesting is that I never noticed any cognitive problems when I took the Australian Nardil. The cognitive problems only occurred for me when I took Pfizer's Nardil. I'm not sure what accounts for this difference. The so-called inactive ingredients in the medication might play a role, but then again, they might not. All I can say is that when I took Pfizer's Nardil, cognitive problems were something that I experienced.
I'm sorry if I couldn't be of more help, and I wish you luck in finding a good explanation as to why Nardil might cause memory problems.
