I have known I am drug addict for about a year now. Before that I would hide all of my addiction so no one would ever find out and it hit me so hard when reality exposed my addiction. I would post various posts here about drugs I wanted. See what I need to get clear is there is something I do need but everyone here and alot of people i've met in rehabs think Its a pure drug addicted excuse to get what I want. My attnetion span is very low and its hard to retain information. And my plans are to move out and to get what I need from a doctor. Adderall, Vyvanse, which ever one works better I will take AND I will ask for Tenex for anxiety not a benzo. I mean if they are benzo friendly doctors it wouldnt hurt but I would stick to the tenex for anxiety because it is good for ADD and anxiety. I think this would be a very good combination but again I am trying to build something to early and I have to get with a doctor that will meet my needs for stimulants. I'm very sure the first time I will get my hands on them I will take more than what is prescibed but im telling you I can make it work and take it right because I did do it with long periods of abstanince of not abusing my medication.
I just need some courage and support from some people and I want to know what you think about this situation. All imput and advice are going to be apprieciated, and thank you for your time.

If a doctor prescribes for an addict a controlled-substance drug that they have abused, I imagine it would be malpractice and they could lose their license, even go to jail. Stimulants are highly regulated, and not that easy to get legally. You might ask your doctor, but I`m wondering if the DEA has a database where known abusers are reported, and if you ever tried to fill a stimulant prescription, you would be flagged? You could probably find out from any pharmacist.
I`m saying all this because you need to give up on your pursuit of stimulants so that you can focus your attention on finding healthier things to create a satisfying life.

Matt not to be mean or judgemental have you ever considered going inpatient to a rehab center? Some are very good I hear. And I think Soltice is right. Phillipa

Have you tried the non amphetamine ADHD meds yet?
They might be a safer option for you.
