I just started taking Nuvigil and have noticed these effects:
1. Increased focus
2. Clarity
3. improved mood
4. decreased suicidal ideationsI have OCD and am wondering if the Nuvigil is helping to treat my intrusive and recurrent thoughts.
I should note I have ADHD and am Bipolar.
Lithium 1200 mg
Clomipramine 200 mg
Zonisamide 300 mg
Vyvanse 50 mg
Abilify 30 mg
Nuvigil 250 mges

How does Nuvigil compare to Vyvanse or Adderall?
Vyvanse and Adderall give me a boost in mood but I'm not sure if Nuvigil would have the same effect. I guess I'm asking because the Adderall I take now raises my blood pressure and it would be preferable to find an alternative.

My hunch is it might not give the same boost. It didn't for me (provigil). They work differently. If blood pranessure is a concern, trialing might be warranted. It was a short trial for me before I gave in and went back to dexedrine.
