ldn

I have suffered from severe depression and a constant headache for over 25 years. The only med that's ever worked is clomipramine, but it lost its effectiveness many years ago. Recently I tried combining clomipramine with ldn following some of my research, which suggested ldn may be beneficial. My doctor prescribed it at 3mg with 100mg of clomipramine. We added remeron at 45mg and the three meds together have given me my life back. I'm almost back to normal, with no indication that the beneficial impact is fading. I have tried over 40 different single and combination drug trials over the years. I am quite certain I'm one of those unfortunate souls deemed treatment resistant...that is until I tried these three drugs together. I am posting this in the hope that it may help others with similar symtoms.

Did LDN cause you insomnia?

I would have tried it by now but for that.

Nope, no insomnia as a result of ldn. I also take remeron and clomipramine, and that combo is very powerful in supporting sleep. These two meds promote slow wave sleep unlike benzos, which tend to supress slow wave sleep.

Insomnia from ldn is usually short-lived if you get any at all. I used ambien with it when needed at first. Vivid dreams for awhile, nothing bad, just strange and vivid. After a few months, I began experiencing the most wonderful peaceful sleep with ldn, the dreams will stop after awhile.
