I dont state it here,but im sure its not a mystery im a big advocate of GHB,if used therputicaly it holds a role in axniety releaif,depression,mainia,pro social,pro sexual,pro heatlh.

I have particpated in a group dedicted to it for longer then i posted here,and all i can say is its a miracle substance for me.

When it was banned as a DATE RAPE drug,and i no longer could even speak about it without people attacking me on it being just that,even when they have no back up to call it toxic,as its brain protective,and blaming a drug for rape is just absurd.

So i just dont speak on it,but with wikipedias new changes,i just want to speak out and say we have been robbed of a fantasticly therputic substance by the same people "protecting us"

GHB,now prescription xyrem is the only drug that holds two scheldues,one that it is a drug of recreation and dangerous,then another that is is a drug that holds some medical benifit.

Well here i will paste two things,first the asnwer to the defense that ghb/xyrem is only semi legal because it helps a specific illness,other then that its a bad drug,lets see if they meant that,take notice they,the company filed guilty,

"In 2007, the makers of Xyrem, Orphan Medical, which is now part of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of marketing Xyrem for unapproved uses. These off-label uses included treatments for conditions such as fatigue, pain, and psychiatric disorders.[7]

The lawsuit claimed that the manufacturers:

Sponsored events where speakers bombarded the doctors with the message that Xyrem should be used to treat a variety of medical conditions;
Paid unrestricted grants to physicians as a reward or inducement to prescribe Xyrem for off-label purposes;
Targeted physicians who were already prescribing Xyrem for aggressive sales calls to encourage off-label prescriptions;
Paid speaker fees to doctors who promoted the use of Xyrem for off-label purposes, such as insomnia and psychiatric disorders.
For example, one physician had made well over $100,000 in just one year for giving such speeches. The doctor, Peter Gleason, admitted to giving speeches and seminars without following "evidence-based guidelines". It was said that he once claimed "table salt is more dangerous" than Xyrem"

WOW THE DATE RAPE DRUG EH,now second is the money,right money money baby.GHB was insanly cheap costing usualy 50 bucks for a pretty large amount,i mean it was natural and just dident cost much,now lets compare that to the script med,which uses the same chemicals as the supplmental banned versions did,and remeber this is the same people trying to help us here,the people that some patients respect and dont think about doing anything outside of guidlines due to trust in these people,yes the fda folks!

"Although GHB can be synthesized easily from inexpensive chemicals, the price for Xyrem is high, and many insurance plans do not cover it. Some insurance plans will cover it on a case-by-case basis, if the patient submits an appeal for coverage. The basis for the appeals would be that this is the only FDA-approved drug in its class that treats this condition. Jazz Pharmaceuticals does not publish a price, but one insurance company reports it at ~$1300/month[9]. The cost varies depending on the dose. The average dose currently costs about $1,700 a month, but this can be significantly higher if a larger dose is required. In the UK the BNF list is priced £360.00 per 180ml (500 mg/mL) (Nov 08) [10]. In the U.S., private insurance can cut the cost to the consumer to just the deductible, but many insurance companies say they do not cover the drug because"

Well feel free to post ur opinions,but im literaly ill reading this,these are the people we trust with our heatlh,i feel much more vindicated now with the way i treat my illness which is in totaly disregard to both them,my doc,and big pharm.

My doctor said to me
"Makes you feel sociable and feel like having sex? We can't have that."

Sounds like good stuff to me. Wonder if Big Pharma can come up with a good safe version of GHB with a long half life that insurance companies will cover. I'd be willing to try it.

No,unfortanly ghb has a unique,wait ENORMOUS unique method of action,just from what i can remeber off the top of my head,

Increases the ghb receptor,therefore raises gaba b which is the known pro social site.

increases serotonin turnover,making serontion more readly avaiable.

Increases oxyctocin,not the love chemical not to be confused with oxycontin.

Ghb was a trademark presciption drug in italy named alcover

Ghb was a prescription drug in germany as Gamm oh.

Dr henri laborit,creator of thorazine also created ghb,instead of his intent on increasing gaba,he was first person to identify there was actualy a ghb recptor already,and that gaba was actualy a PRECURSOR to it,making it more powerful then gaba.

GHB is the most potent sleep inducing drug,capable of provinding the stage of sleep no other drug can.

GHB is extremly powerful,and MUST be used with,or under supervision of someone familiar with it.

Sorry i meant to answer ur question,no unfortantly the only alternatives to it would be its analougs (cousins) gbl,1,4 bdo,thf,gvl

I do remeber gabpentin brought excitment to the ghb group upon its first arrival as a alternative,but it was due to gabpentins initial hard buzz that did this,in reality they are nothing alike.

What has taken its place however,is a legal compound called PHENIBUTT its not similiar to ghb at all,but is simply powerful so therefore it is accepted as the only legal alternative.

Its wikipedia profile shows it to be a good med in action,and it basicaly is either LOVED or HATED
and i mean that to the extreme of both.

I personaly hate it lol,but have a net friend who has his yahoo nick phenibut which tells u how he feels.

I recomend wikipia phenibut and read on it,at the very least its profile sounds good.

Just to note,although legal,phenibutt like ghb is an EXTREMLY POTENT AND POWERFUL substance

Do you think GHB works primarily for anxiety or would it work for depression too? It doesn't really matter of course since my insurance would never pay for it...
