I've read a decent amount of posts here that say that Solian (Amisulpride) is good for Social Anxiety. Anyone have experience of it working for Generalized Anxiety? I'm aware that it is not available in the U.S.

The first day or two had an expected dopamine feeling of stimulation and sleep disturbance (25mg-50mg) and rapid antidepressnt action. Two weeks in, generalized anxiety and social anxiety were history.

This is a drug I'm interested in suggesting to my doc, was/is your treatment response long term to this drug? As from what iv read it appears that the effects tend last a few weeks before the brain perhaps down-regulates the receptors? Do you think 25mg once a day in morn could be enough as a starting point, dont fancy the insomnia or nausea?

A downfall of Amisulpride is the potential to increase the hormone prolactin. If that happens to an excessive amount, sexual ability becomes near zero. That happened to me, so it was a deal breaker. My spouse and I, even in the worst of my illness struggles, enjoy closeness with each other.
25mg was my dose.
This is the end of the thread.
