People are awfully dissatisfied with most, but I'm wondering if some have had success with any of the generics. If so, please post which one's.
It would be great if the masses that have only had problems with this issue would refrain from posting because we have dozens of posts of this nature.
Thanks!

I like the Bupropion i take. I think the manufacturer is Watson? That's the only thing non-medicinal written on the bottle.

If Wattson makes the smaller dark blue pills of the generic sr verson, they are better than the brand. Also I'm currently taking the yellow ones with a 'G' on one side made by 'Teva' they are really good too.

I have great success with the generics! I prefer the blue ones but usually end up with the peach ones (100mg each). However, I actually take 600mg a day! Yikes. I heard hear that the generic was weaker and I found that to be true. I swear I tried 400 and 500mg/day for a long time and I was still a mess, then after going to 600mg/day all's good. After 10 months I tried to titrate back down to 500 and it was still a horror show.
When I first started on it, I was also on an anti-convulsant so I thought maybe I was covered for any sezures. I never did have any. Then I had surgery to get rid of the problem that had me on an anti-convulsant and I didn't need them anymore. (Thank god). Now I am still on the 600mg and unable (and unwilling) to ween off, but I don't care. I am sticking with what works. I like having a life. I have been on 600 mg about 2 YEARS with no problems at all except trouble sleeping if I take it too late. I take 300mg all at once as soon as I wake up and a 2nd 300mg dose about 6 hrs later.
My GP gives me a regular 300mg/day Rx, and then I order another 300mg/day from whoever online. I also need to be on timed-release St Johns Wort with it as well or forget it, back to tears in that case as well. So here I am waiting for this program to stop working before changing anything. I am so rarely on here, because I am so undepressed these days (I should say months!). But since it was here that I heard that the Generics are weaker and may require a higher dose, I thought I'd pop in and give back. Funny, this sicussion was not far down on page one. Feel free to email me about this: sengels at optonline dot net, because I don't know when I will get back here. I am busy being productive. Cheers! Susan in NYC

I would be terrified to take 600mg because of the seizure risk. Do you take it for ADHD or depression?
When I was on Wellbutrin I found the Indian imports just as good as the brand, and much, much cheaper.
