Hello,
a dear friend of mine in los angeles has been on wellbutrin before for his depression (It was a miracle). He doesn't have health insurance any more so he can't afford to go to the doctor for a visit and get a written perscription for it. He is slipping pretty badly at the moment so I am trying to help him get back on it. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a website that catered to this kind of person? many thanks for any of your thoughts,
mogger

Phil's link should help, otherwise check http://www.needymeds.com/
Those sites should help with the meds -- but he'll still need to see a doctor. I recommend calling around for local low fee clinics. They exist, with a lot of them scattered around in LA.
OR, I called my old doctor after losing insurance, told her the story, and she agreed to keep my prescriptions going until I could get to a doctor. It's worth asking -- worst case, the doctor says no.
Good luck.
And by the way, if you were hoping for sites that help you get medications with a prescription, check the FAQ: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#illegal That sort of thing isn't allowed here, and a deputy will be along to take action if someone does post a site to get the drugs without the scrip. I won't say sorry, since it's a policy I believe in.
Good luck, though.
