Eat a lot of junk food, stop exercising, and increase daily stressors.

It has a lot of salt in it. Thats the No. 1 product Nardil peeps take daily to do it.
See your biggest concern with the MAOI diet is that eating one of the "forbidden foods" MAY raise your blood pressure to an unsafe level, cause a stroke and other related problems that could lead to death.
However, in some people, such as myself, Nardil has LOWERED by BP tremendously. I think my average reading is 92/62, far below what it was before I was on Nardil. I dont advise this, but bec my BP is so low I sometimes eat cheese just to try to jack it up a little and even that doesnt always work.
From reading medical studies, it appears that ppl taking Parnate are far more sensitive to the MAOI diet and its reactions. DISCLAIMER: However, every med affects everybody differently.
Football, my young friend, my advice to you is to buy this BP wrist monitor and experiment yourself. Here is less than half what you would pay at Wal-Mart. Your friend, Michael

How many weeks have you been on Nardil?
Can you take me how you got up to your current dosage? (i.e., I took 30mg for one week, 45 for four weeks, 60 for two weeks, etc.)
When did you finally feel it kick in? After how many weeks?
Im proud of you, man.

Thanks for the link, but I've already bought one. 88/52 this morning...
2 weeks at 30 MG, 2 weeks at 45 MG, 1 week at 60 MG, and then I've been at 75 MG from March 15th - today. I wanna go up to 90 MG ASAP, but won't be able to do that until I start seeing my new pdoc.I noticed some results at 60 MG, but it wasn't until I got bumped up to 75 MG that it really made a huge impact.
As long as the side-effects aren't too debilitating, there's no reason you can't increase your dose fairly rapidly.

As others have said, getting plenty of salt in your diet and drinking lots of fluid will help. There's some evidence NSAIDs like ibuprofen can help severe low blod pressure and orthostatic hypotension like you've been having.
