It has a lot of salt in it. Thats the No. 1 product Nardil peeps take daily to do it.
See your biggest concern with the MAOI diet is that eating one of the "forbidden foods" MAY raise your blood pressure to an unsafe level, cause a stroke and other related problems that could lead to death.
However, in some people, such as myself, Nardil has LOWERED by BP tremendously. I think my average reading is 92/62, far below what it was before I was on Nardil. I dont advise this, but bec my BP is so low I sometimes eat cheese just to try to jack it up a little and even that doesnt always work.
From reading medical studies, it appears that ppl taking Parnate are far more sensitive to the MAOI diet and its reactions. DISCLAIMER: However, every med affects everybody differently.
