Please help in how to take tianeptine (Stablon).

Posted by lukeds on April 13, 2007, at 7:41:33

Tianeptine is no legal in my country so I bought it on-line from France. Today the shipment has arrived.

Also my psychiatrist refused to treat me with it, so I need all the help that the people of this forum could give me.

Actually I am taking Luvox 100mg per day since 5 days ago, xanax 2mg per day, sulpiride 100mg per day, and for sleep Trazodone 50mg and 2 pills of Distraneurin.

So I need to know if there are problems if I take tianeptine the day after stop taking Luvox, and if I can take it without dangerous interactions with sulpiride, xanax, trazodone and distraneurin.

Also what dosage is better, 12.5mg 3 times a day or 4 times a day?

Is anyone taking tianeptine for GAD, OCD, IBS and refractory dysthymia?

Please advice me. I need the experience and knowledge of the people of this forum, cause I can't obtain it from any psychiatrist of my country, due the legal problems of tianeptine.

I am with Luvox only 5 days, and I would have to wait from 4 to 6 weeks to see if the drug kicks in, and I am tyred of prove SSRIs that don't work. I am not sure but it seems that those antidepressants don't work anymore for me.

I prefer to prove tianeptine, cause it is an antidepressant that works in a very different manner to the rest of antidepressants (which they seem that don't work anymore for me). Also it acts much more faster than the SSRIs and it has anti-anxiety effects too.

Please talk to your doctor for specific information about how to take any medication. No one here can prescribe medications to you, nor can anyone here advise you on how to take those medications you choose to order online. It is beyond the scope of this board, and not in your best interests.

The FAQ contains information regarding these issues. I hope you'll review the information it contains.

Thank you.

Hello lukeds,

Dr. Bob's general policy is not to delete threads or even single posts, except under very rare circumstances. So, as his deputies we rarely find it appropriate to do that either. One reason is that the community as a whole can learn a lot from all sorts of threads.

I'm just guessing here, of course, but I wonder if you're worried because of the question you asked. If you are, please don't be. Racer (who is a deputy but was posting just as a helpful poster) reminded you of the site rules, and that can be the end of it. No problem :-)

If you still feel you want your posts removed, I suggest you use the "Notify the Administrators' button at the bottom of every post (open one of yours and scroll down and you'll see it) and send a message to Dr. Bob, stating the reasons you want the posts deleted. As the site administrator, he will make that decision.

Hope this helps.

Respectfully,
10derHeart, acting as deputy for Dr. Bob
