Rozerem in EU?

Posted by reefer on January 6, 2006, at 11:12:02

Anyone know anything about why Rozerem(ramelteon) isn't available in Europe? And even worse, can't even find any information on [the company] seeking approval for the EU market. If you have any information about Rozerem and EU market please fill me in. I would really like a non benzo related sleeping aid.

I'm really interested in this med to!
An Ambien XR

There seem to be a lot of new sleep meds coming out in the US but not the EU.

Hopefully when Agomolatine comes out in the EU it will help with sleep, it also works on Melatonin receptors?

Well Lunesta(eszopiclone) is just a trick to get zopiclone patented. I bet you a lot on that besides you can dose it 50% lower since they removed the inactive isomer it's the same sh*t just a hell lot more expensive.

Yeah, only bad is it also triggers the serotonin receptors. I'd prefer ramelteon since it only hits the MT receptors.
