Rozerem in EU?

Anyone know anything about why Rozerem(ramelteon) isn't available in Europe? And even worse, can't even find any information on [the company] seeking approval for the EU market. If you have any information about Rozerem and EU market please fill me in. I would really like a non benzo related sleeping aid.
