Hello,
Does anyone know if it's possible to have lithium toxicity at low levels? I only take 450mg. Eskalith daily ...also on Cymbalta 60mgs.
Trouble is I've been experiencing heart rhythm changes, thirt, sweating, and slight difficulty breathing. My last blood level was done in June and was .5
I'm very concerned, especially about the heart rhythm change. Any help is appreciated? Thank you.

Are your heart rhythm changes intermittent? Also, what type of changes?

I wasn't thinking well when I wrote my first reply. Right now, it doesn't really matter whether or not Lithium is responsible for your symptoms.I should have told you to seek medical attention **immediately**.Arrhythmias *can* be very serious. Also, slight difficulties in breathing can escalate.

Thanks for your reply. I made an appointment to see my Pdoc today but to answer your first post, the arrythmia comes and goes throughout the day and I get "skipped" beats & longer pauses between beats and very irregular when it's acting up. I can't figure this out and I don't know whether it's the Cymbalta or the Lithium. I'll see what the doc says.
