Feeling good and scared to death

Posted by Spriggy on February 27, 2005, at 18:59:24

Somebody please explain this phenomon (yeah, I can't spell that word even on a good day).

For no apparent reason, for the last 4-5 hours, I have felt great. I mean "normal" and just all around feeling good.

I'm on day 3 of Omega 3's and sublingual b-12 so I suppose it could be related.

I am still taking .25 Klonopin in morning and evening.

But the funny (or sad part) is taht I feel so good, that I'm scared.

Like this is foreign to me.. Like I'm not allowed to feel good anymore.

Is this pathetic or normal after such an emotional/mental roller coaster?

Yahoo for Spriggy! I am sure it is a normal feeling :-) I have experienced the same thing, and it is a wonderful feeling. I am very happy for you. Wishing you many more hours, days, weeks . . . of that feeling.

All the best to you,

Tamara

Hey Spriggy,

I'd say it's pretty "normal" to be scared of things that are outside of our so-called "normal" experience. My only advice is to just accept the feelings for what they are and try not to analyse them or worse start thinking about the bad that must inevitably come after it.

I know it can be weird to feel 'good' because it's outside your comfort zone, but try to just 'be' and enjoy it. An alterative therapist I see once told to try and think high and low energy rather than good and bad, because this takes away all the connotations that good and bad carry with them and because the flow of energy is a completely natural phenomena that constantly varies in intensity.

Just enjoy it okay, it's all part of the journey.

Congratulations! It's great to hear you feeling well. I agree with the others. Fondly, Phillipa

Hey Spriggy,

Don't question it. It's come to you for a reason. You deserve it!

Sure it's normal to feel weird about feeling good - I know that in the past few days I have felt that. In fact, just before I read your post I was feeling much the same way. It appears my meds have kicked in in the last few days and I'm feeling better than I have for months. It's very odd. But hey, it's mine! And I'm taking it and running with it! Yeah!

Best wishes for continued good feelings and happiness!

Jen

Hi!

I knew you'd start to feel better soon! I think you're just worried that you'll get ill again- which is why you're scared to death.

Best,
Ed.

Wow! I was wondering the same thing. Since my new meds(luvox & gabitril) I've felt better, but as you said, it feels foreign. It is deffinently something that I can get used to though. Just try and go with the flow..>>>>...
