about an hour to two after i take it i feel anxious and restless. i take prozac in the morning then wellbutrin with the xanax xr at lunch. when i was taking it in the morning it would wear off in the afternoon and i would get very irritable and anxious. it almost feels like a sugar pill. i don't feel like it's doing much of anything.

Hi, I took 2mg daily of the xanax xr for a few months. I took mine at night, because it made me sleepy. But I didnt like it either. I asked to be put back on the regular blue's...
But thats all behind me now, because my pdoc switched me to klonopin....I miss the xanax...Sj

I can't take klonopin. for some reason it makes me depressed and i don't need to be more depressed than i already am. i'm beginning to think the xanax is doing the same thing. i seem to have this continuous low feeling. i don't know if it's from just being tired or it's the meds. I was really hoping that xanax xr would really help but i'm beginning to think it may not. i'm afraid if i go up to 2mg then i'll be really tired. It's a double edge sword. i feel like i'm crawling out of my skin and i'm getting the beginnings of panic attacks again when i'm out at a store shopping. i'm just tired of all the med changes. something somewhere has got to work.

I think the wellbutrin is making you jumpy and the xanax can't overcome it. I take my WB in the morning at the same time I take my effexor. The onset of panic attacks varies every day for me. If you find you're feeling panicky at the same time every day, try changing when you take the wellbutrin and see what happens.
I take .5mg of xanax twice a day for panic.

i've been taking wellbutrin for a long time and this just came up. it started when we upped my geodon and added xanax xr. i take my wellbutrin at lunch time so that the prozac and wellbutrin wont peak at the same time and wipe me out.
