I think the wellbutrin is making you jumpy and the xanax can't overcome it. I take my WB in the morning at the same time I take my effexor. The onset of panic attacks varies every day for me. If you find you're feeling panicky at the same time every day, try changing when you take the wellbutrin and see what happens.

I take .5mg of xanax twice a day for panic.
