How does Ambien help socially?

Posted by becksA on September 8, 2004, at 9:08:42

I was reading that post above about Ambien, and how it made him a more social person...something I am looking for. what is in it that helps, and what DOES it help to make you more social? I know that Ambien is not prescribed for social disorders (or is it?)...but what is, if anything, that works similarly?

Thanks

I thought ambien was a sleep medication. I know my stepfather takes it so he can sleep. >???
I'd be interested in knowing if there is another benefit as well.......

hmm yeah i just dont know if that sort of stuff would be recommended by the doctor..

What im saying is there's probably a reason why it's just not prescribed in the daytime...there must be some adverse effects, if not noticeable on the outside at least.
