Nardil + Zyprexa + Reboxetine...

Posted by ace on January 9, 2004, at 23:04:12

I know the Reboxetine would be officially contraindicated, but does any one see any problem with this cocktail.

I mean, reboxetine is selective to norepinephrine...ie we won't see a 5-HT syndrome...and it maybe helps the BP aspects of Nardil.

Opinions all please!

Ace,
Nardil 105mg (30mg tds)
Zyprexa 2.5 (nocte).

It might be helpful to know exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Are you depressed? Are you experiencing OCD stuff?

Sorry. It is for OCD, a little residual anxiety (very small bit in comparison to before Nardil) and a very low level of dysthmia- my level of motivation wanes and there is a little emptiness at times, ( I should emphasis That Nardil is still a Godsend) Also your opinion on

Nardil+Zyp.+Wellbutrin...?

Nardil+Zyp. + Neurontin...

Wellbutrin might make anxiety worse. Neurontin seems to help some people with social anxiety / phobia.

Ok, I take that literally. You propably gonna hat me for the following, but thats my opinion. like it or not.

I dont think you really want a noradrenergic drug. They will just increase anxiety and hihgly probable OCD. Is there study positively confirming that a noradrenergic drug is either good for OCD or social anxiety? I guess not. My life was HELL on Reboxetine. Social Phobia is also one of my problems. On Rebox I was totally unable to relax, always burned out, always inner tensions. It was noradrenaline *hell*, not heaven.

Arent you well enough these days? What about studying as good as you can. Finish an proper education. Dont you know, all the hot chicks out there are waiting for fresh pharmacologists!!;-)
I'd be glad if I would function at all..
Life isn't euphoria. Its part of life to be down sometimes. I somehow get the impression, that your goal you are trying to achieve is much too high.
Be happy about the way it is now. Drugs alone are not the answer, andrew.

best wishes
Roland

I know what you are saying and appreciate your point of view. But when I have these constant thoughts saying "you will have infinte pain if you don't touch this tree" etc etc I feel it is an abberation and needs to be squashed. The thoughts are ego-dystonic, and they create pain for me. They intrude my mind when studying. Affectively, I am doing OK, I agree. But I can't accept these thoughts...they hurt at times. And sometimes, I do have to limit my lifestyle because of residual anxiety...I am not content with that, and you shouldn't be either. We both deserve the best Roland.

Thanks for your comments, I do appreciate all views.

Take Care friend,
Andrew (ace)
