> ThankyouI would think reboxetine would be good for brain fog. It might also help with anxiety. I would be VERY surprised if it caused anything like brain shocks, because I have taken similar drugs and never had any problems like that. I doubt reboxetine is the cure for social phobia, but i have found norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors to be very helpful in clearing my mind and getting anxiety to manageable levels (not social anxiety however). I hope the med helps you.

Keep us posted on the rebox experience please. I've seen lots of questions about it here, but not too many personal experiences. Take care, good luck, and stay in touch --

I'd say go for Reboxetine...it is not an SSRI it is an SNRI- ie it acts on norepinephrine. I have seen very good reports of it ; helping depression better than SSRIs, and also social phobia. I reckon it's a good choice- if u want I can point you to those clinical trials.
Good luck,
Ace.

I did not like reboxetine at all. I left several posts about it a year or two ago. It made me very uncomfortable. That said, we all have very different responses to these meds. Have you ever been prescibed Neurontin? I thought that was a very successful social anxiety drug. Another drug (which I am on now and cannot say enough about) is Lamictal. My biologicalpsychiatrist says the best cure ever for social anxiety is Toastmasters. I wish I knew more about that.
