I would be VERY surprised if it caused anything like brain shocks, because I have taken similar drugs and never had any problems like that. I doubt reboxetine is the cure for social phobia, but i have found norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors to be very helpful in clearing my mind and getting anxiety to manageable levels (not social anxiety however).
