Just curious about anyone's experience with this stuff. Thanks!

Maybe, but I'd be careful. I've had some pretty different reactions to the stuff, and on medications, seems to amplify anxiety and possible blood-pressure changes. John.

I gave it a good try a few years back to see if it would help as an adjunctive to my AD. I checked out info & bought the best source I could find, but I noticed nothing. Not even a bit. I know some swear it makes a diff but I saw none.

I used it during the years I had no health insurance. I am convinced it is the only reason I survived one particularly bad period of about 3 months (I just . . . couldn't . . . function . . . .properly . . . .and would probably have gotten run over on the freeway without it.) I only had good results with the Siberian white variety. The others hurt my stomach, made me crazy, or did nothing. My current doctor endorses ginseng, but Siberian only, interestingly enough. I took two or three capsules twice per day (450 mg caps, I think), once in the am and once again around lunch. Didn't take after lunch or I didn't get to sleep before 1 am. But I am particularly sensitive to such things, YMMV. If I understand correctly, it "activates" the adrenal cycle somewhat, through some brain function (not sure which brain subsystem it influences, can't remember.) So taking it too late can cause insomnia. I would start with one capsule in the am and work up from there if you're interested in giving it a try.
Good luck! Hope this helps.
