Hi again,
I just started Geodon a couple weeks ago. I am doing just "okay" with 20 mg, but couldn't tolerate the 40 mg. I have actually been feeling more tired and depressed and agitated lately (even just on the 20 mg.)Need help!! Can't handle SSRIs, stims, or mood stablizers. I am diagnosed with BPII.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks in advance,
cindy

I love to hear from someone on Geodon to. My doc just switched me to it from Risperdal which was working (to combat severe mood swings, self-mutilation, etc.)but I was gaining weight and upset about that. I'm on 20mg. two times a day. My doc said he hasn't had a lot of success with it, but that it does work for some and doesn't have the weight gain side effects.

I'm on 160mg of Geodon (120mg at bedtime ans 40mg in the morning). The only really side effect that is bothersome for me is the agitation and anxieties that I get. My pdoc put me on 1mg of Klonopin 3 times a day whcih seems to work, except I'm SLOWLY withdrawing from Xanax. The I've tries many drugs over the last 20 years and Geodon seems to work for me. I'm not as parinoid and my psychosis has lesson. I'm diagnoised with Schizoidaffective disorder. I also take 400mg of Wellbutrin. I would say try it out for a while for it took a month for it to take affect. I can think clearer now and seem to have better control of myself. You might want to augmented with some Klonopin. Good Luck
