Hello all,
Of all the stimulants dexedrine is the best for me. It is truly wonderful, but I'm completely impotent. Has anyone had this problem, or better yet, resolved this problem? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

The fact that you said you may be _completely_ impotent makes me think that sildenafil will be your only viable potency remedy. But I am hopeful that what a urologist would say to you could include other hopeful agents such as Flomax, Urecholine, or maybe Ginkgo Biloba. At any rate, emotional well-being is, as always, priceless--thus continue on with your Dexedrine until you and your physician have delved into the issue thoroughly...

I'd give deprenyl a try. It's a great sexual enhancer! It should get you right back on track. You can try to get your doc to precribe this (called Eldepryl) but he'd probably try to get you on Viagra. Sure, you'll get the erection, but what's sex without the drive and motivation? Deprenyl is the answer. And you can get it without a prescription under the brand name Jumex (selegiline HCL). $47 (including S/H) will get you 3 months worth! It only takes 5mg/day. Plus, it lasts all day and you never have to worry about taking a dose before sex or anything. As long as you're on 5mg/day you will have no sexual problems and have a high sex-drive all day long! Sleep could be a problem is you're on dexedrine as well. Klonopin (2mg or so) per day should work great to ease you out so you can get to sleep. You may not even need the Klonopin though. Just tell your doctor you are having trouble getting to sleep and would like to reduce your anxiety with Klonopin. You can tell him it's from the Dexedrine and don't even have to mention the Jumex. Believe me. You'll be glad you tried deprenyl. Tell me what your thoughts are or any questions you have... God bless -Jason911

Meds:remeron 30mg, zyprexa 2.5mg, Wellbutrin 150mg, dexedrine(immediate release) 15mg / dayI have not had this problem, but I take remeron as an Anti-Depressant. Remeron is supposed to have less sexual side effects that other Anti-Depressants, I would say personally that this is true. I haven't noticed a decrease from zyprexa either but I take a low dose. Dexedrine only casues impotence for me if I take more than I'm supposed to. It could be a dose issue, or maybe just your personal chemistry. Most of the time impotence is casued by an Anti-depressant(as far as I know), I had this problem with paxil and I stopped taking it. So have fun trying to isolate the casue.
I could be completley wrong though becasue I am NOT a doctor, I would suggest discussing this issue with a doctor before trying to fix it all on your own.
