Hello! I'm on wellbutrin 300mg and I have been experiencing *extreme* nausea. I was wondering if anyone knows of something which cures this....? Will it go away will time...continued use of wellbutrin??
Thanks all,
Chris

I never had any nausea problems, but I suspect you could lessen them by eating some food or drinking some milk with your WB. I don't think food delays absorbtion of WB significantly. You may also try ginger ale, or candied ginger, which is a natural anti-nausea substance.

>Chris - How long have you been on WB and how quickly did you titrate to 300 mgs. I've taken WB for a long time but I initially titrated it very slowly. When I have increased my dosage in the past I've done so in 25 or 50 mgs increments. With each increase I would periodically feel some lightheadedness, and nausea. All of these side effects went away in a matter of days although when I first started on the drug it probably was closer to 10 days before I noticed I wasn't having any of these side effects.

Well, I took 150mg for 4 days then started at 300mg. I started to feel the nausea not until 1 week after starting the medication (3 days after starting 300mg) so I don't know what's up!! But it works soooooo I'm hoping the nausea goes away!! :)

> Chris - you titrated this faster than I remember doing, although I also seem to recall that the side effects were more immediate and the benefits much more gradual. In order to increase the likelihood of staying with a med, I generally don't bump myself up until I've reached the point where I can tolerate the side effects at the previous dose. If you're at 300 mgs, you have a ways to go before you hit the recommended maximum (450 mgs). I'd stay where you are until you see if the nausea abates. Good luck and keep us posted.
