Richelson: Wellbutrin

I noticed that on your slides that Wellbutrin was almost at the bottom of the list in terms of efficacy. Do you think that Wellbutrin is an efficacious anti-depressant?

Thanks for this question, which gives me the opportunity to clarify a point about the data that I presented. None of the transporter blocking potencies or the receptor blocking potencies is related to efficacy. It is assumed that all antidepressants are equally efficacious. The data presented give a first approximation to predict the likelihood of a drug causing certain adverse effects and certain pharmacodynamic drug interactions.
