Oh ok, when you mentioned the hospital I was not sure. I am so glad you are doing better, I know we haven't exchanged many posts in the past but I felt worried about you. It's so good to hear you feeling better off.

Hi J,
>i feel like myself again with the seroquel
Perhaps you could start the Seroquel again in hospital. I'm not sure why you stopped it, did you panic? Seroquel often causes dizziness, but it's not usually serious.

Hi J,
Jeroen, I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad. I would fly over to Belgium to come and see you if I could.
You mustn't give up on Seroquel so quickly. You said: 'i have taken seroquel and by suprise i feel almost myself again i even took a low dose.'
Don't give up on Seroquel, I still think it could help you.
Lol, you are my psycho-babble brother! Hang in there.
All the best,
Ed.

yea but correct, i should try clozaril first, because it has the potential to reverse tardive dyskinesia, im not sure it will do this, if not ill find a treatment and start seroquel. if that fails i will terminate my life. sorry
zyprexa 10 mg i already tryed and i was almost blind, why did it become worse, any theorys?
i wish i never tryed abilify, and geodon those are worst medicines i have ever taken, seroquel is the only medicine where i feel back myself with it. but i think i got a psychotic attack from it

Hi J,
When will you be going to the hospital? When will you next see a psychiatrist?
>zyprexa 10 mg i already tryed and i was almost blind, why did it become worse, any theorys?
Perhaps it's because olanzapine has a higher ratio of D2 to 5-HT2 antagonism.>but i think i got a psychotic attack from it
Please tell me what happened. What symptoms did you have? When did this happen?

Hi J,
>ill be seeing a psychiatrist in the morning
Good luck! Send a message from the hospital if you're admitted to start Leponex.
>i felt like everybody had something against me, high anxiety
This may have occured because the Seroquel was wearing off. If you take Seroquel in future, you should try taking it twice daily to keep a constant level in your body.

Hi J,
It's time for you to go to the hospital. You are suicidal and need to be treated in a safe place. Please take my advice and go. Send me a message from the hospital, don't be frightened. In hospital you could start Leponex, or maybe try Seroquel again. Best of luck.

I am sorry that you are feeling so bad.
It sounds like you need to get your medication sorted.
I know that at times it really doesn't feel like anything will ever change...
But it always does.
All it takes is a bit of time.
If you are thinking about ending your life then you need to get to be in a safe place until the feeling has started to pass and you rediscover hope. Please contact someone IRL.
Tell someone how you feel (if there is someone suitable) they could help you talk to
Your doctor
Your therapist
The ER
Crisis services
You could contact them yourself
You could send an email to the Samaritans.
There are lots of things you could do.

Hi J,
>i feel almost normal on this dose 75 mg seroquel
I'm glad you're going to try Seroquel again, it seemed to help you.
>i only took 75 mg but not long enough because of the psychotic anxiety
I think you need to take it twice daily, a small dose in the morning and a larger dose in the evening. This should help keep your anxiety under control. You could take 25mg tonight and gradually increase back up to 75mg over the next few days.
All the best,
Ed.

Jeroen, you can't take a drug once, up the dose, down the dose, not take the dose, and expect to see a response. You must be consistent. Do as Ed has instructed you to do until you see your pdoc. As you have said it does help you. Fondly, Phillipa

Terminating now is illogical. You have now established that a biological intervention has produced a significant positive effect. There are yet are many drugs and a virtual limitless number of combinations left for you to try.Sorry, but it is too late for you terminate. You have already proved that you are treatable.

I believe that the word "psychotic" is often used inappropriately. Let's get down to the bottom line and answer a few questions. Try not to use labels or diagnostic terms when answering them. Be as detailed as possible. The more objective your observations are, the better one can make recommendations as to what treaments are candidates to treat your condition.
What are you experiencing? What are you thinking about?
How long have you been experiencing these things?

Hi.
> i experience, i dont feel myself on the street when people are passing by
It is possible that you are experiencing what is known as depersonalization and perhaps derealization.
1. Do you ever get the feeling like nothing around you is real?
2. Do you feel like you are watching yourself as if you were above yourself looking down?
These things are the result of severe chronic anxiety and probably coupled with depression. As unreal as things can seem, this is not psychosis.
> 7 years now
That is a horrendous amount of time to suffer such a painful and disorienting state. If it were me, I know that I would have considered many times that self-terminating would be a very rational thing to do. You should be commended for persevering as long as you have.
> the only medicine i start feeling like myelf is seroquel, i even took it by accident.
Things happen that way quite often with these illnesses and medications. I am greatly relieved to hear that you should have had such an accident. You deserved a lucky break for a change.
> but 22 days on it, i feel high on it, when i was worrying about stuff in the hospital i almost got a psychotic anxiety attacki, i was scared of everything and coudnt control itI think you might feel better from:
1. Increase the dosage of Seroquel.
2. Adding a drug like Klonopin. I might be wrong in my choice, but it sounds like adding one more drug should take care of any residual anxiety.
3. Switching to Zyprexa.
4. Psychotherapy. Even if your condition is 100% biological, it will have distorted your thinking for so long, that your psyche has been affected negatively. You must have a hell of a mess to clean up. Deciding to seek psychotherapy is a sign of strength and self-improvement rather than weakness.
