Actually, it's closer than we all think. And not just from the global environmental perspective, Toph my friend, from the perspective of wham! the lights could just go out and I or you will never know the difference. there will be no one to record any difference, any history, any life lived firsthand. Gone. Keep every moment as important as it really is ... the constant challenge, the fighting the inertia of the living, the living dead.. tramping the streets of Port au Prince, giving up, lying down, fetus-like, not caring when the final breath will come, not knowing a hell such as this. Better they had died instantly leaving a bloated stinking corpse for God himself, who did not weep, who does not weep, who simply is Not ... a believe in the Is-not will be all that saves those who consider life worth living, will alone cannot be enough, life is not worth this hell....imagine a boatload of desperate people bound for refuge in a land that does not want them...desperation and the hopelessness when being forced to offload at gunpoint..imagine being the one toting the gun, imagine the cruelty involved, imagine. To go on in this world, this absolute living hellish cesspit humanity has made a once beautiful world?
Pfft. We're nothing. nothing.
