ambulances

How many ambulances were there?
Two or one or three
It is hard to think back to then
Unclear memory of me.

Once for the accident,
once for the pain,
another time out of confusion
while circling the drain.

If three then more sick then thought
The holes larger than believed
The gaps wider than imagined
The reality heavier than one needs

Not our forte, not our venue
Not our craft not with ease
This makes no sense now
With time
With time
With time comes peace
