The figments of our dreams and desires are our own makings, and yet disappoint us greatly when they don't always continue to cruise under our direction and guidance.

There is a song by someone great, wish I could remember. The title is "I Can't Make You Love Me" I think it's by Bonnie Raitt, beautiful melody. Beautiful words, true so f*cking true.

Funny how people can say anything they want, deny anything they want, but their true feelings and emotions are often found in their eyes, their expressions, and most of all in the things they DON'T say.

You know this person so well. So intimately well, and yet he doesn't know it or realize it or want to admit it.

Being able to read someone's soul is a beautiful acomplishment. One that doesn't always get reciprocated. In fact rarely ever does. Why is that, do you think? Are we domed to wander this earth searching for the perfect match to our hopes and desires only to be disappointed time and time again by someone who either doesn't fit the bill or refuses to try in on for size?

Does that ever really happen? Do people ever really find their true soul mate? Does love, true madly passionate love ever just occur spontaneously like in the movies? Or are we just stupidly lulled into that romantic notion by drooling over what SEEMS to be happening with others?
