Today I Saw

Posted by Susan47 on December 23, 2005, at 22:49:40

A man who made my heart jump,
the slope of his shoulders
so familiar,
so dear,
the lope of his walk,
how lovely, how absolutely lovely he is.
But it wasn't him,
when I looked again,
it will never be him.

I want it to be,
I wish I could see him,
my eyes need the colour of his,
the feel of his skin,
what could it be like?
Does it matter?
Does any of it ever matter?

It's me and a hundred others,
countless others who've been
where I've been, where I am,
where I come from and where I might be going.

Quit.
It so so so is not fair.
I need my sense of humour.
Enough.
Already.
Humour WHERE ARE YOU???
