hey, greyskyeyes, i like to write that name in full, does me good.
today we had a squall. Just one bad cloud but it screwed up all the traffic on I-95 [stay away from this sucker if you value your life] My wife, she's french, drives like a champ, so a little rain gives her free rein to vamp.
I saw something I've never seen, rainbows splashing from the tires of machines, and then a cop from Bridgeport, of all places, actually out of his car. And, I couldn't believe this, actually directing traffic around a mess.
Seeing him did me some good. Here was a cop doing what a cop should. Here in Ct. a squall can be a storm, and on I-95, a hurricane.
You know, I'm happy as a clam that you responded. Madness can be off-putting...whoa, is that a word...well, here I go off on a run, when one goes nuts, chasing words can be fun.Thanks, cockeyed.
