well, the you that you decide to be should obviously stay, and the you that you don't like to be should obviously go.

Sounds simple, but isn't, I know.

But I think that maybe it is a good thing that you realize that you are at a crossroads.

Just stop, breathe, look around, look inside, and when you've decided which "you" you want to be, then and only then should you choose which road to take.

I think that a lot of us are so used to caring for everyone else, that it never occurs to us to take care of our own wants and needs. And sometimes, if we've been dong it long enough, we aren't even sure what our wants and needs ARE. At least that's me, anyway.

I'm supposed to figure out what I like to do. Seriously. I'm supposed to find a hobby that I enjoy which isn't escapism (tv and reading) and devote time to pleasing myself by doing a hobby I enjoy.

I'm not even sure where to start. But when I figure it out, Gracie, there will be no stopping me. Because I've figured out one thing, at least. I DON'T like being a doormat.

I'm always amazed how you mesh pain and hope in the same piece of poetry. That is talent.

Thank you for giving me something to both relate to and to work towards.

You inspire me.
