So Falling

I wrote this a few months ago, but I thought I might post this here. Just to get it out, I guess. Sometimes I still feel like this, though thankfully, far less often than I used to.
So Falling
Help me here, I am so falling!
I think and I think in a big circle all around.
I sit on the floor, and I do not stop falling.
I make a strong dring, then another and again,
I'm trying to escape, but I'm still faster falling.
The pain now stings and its color is true,
It eases the pace; I can drift in my falling.
I will take my pills and fall soft asleep,
Retreat from the real until tomorrow I'm falling.
