essence of life.... of insanity

Need to write before I lose it completely.
numb lips, muttering and stuttering
thoughts racing and pacing
anergic chaos filtering through the fog of war
saturating my mind with simplistic muffling
crippling executive functioning
teeth gnashing and crashing into themselves
in perpetual angst while blankly
thoughts coerce each other without forethought
crashing and bashing without reasoning
without purpose, dankly and frankly
frightening and stifling in their impotence
striving and diving into the inky blackness
of insanity, shadows fleeting and flitting
insanity, life's very essence
insanity, drawing and knitting our presence
submitting and refitting life's lessons
conversely losing life's importance
violently convulsing in order to convolute
the starkly frigid naked truth
excising fact from fiction in murky movements
curdle under life's sour gaze, moments
of crystalline clarity, only to be doused
in the fiery flames of subjugate insanity
ragged edges score and exfoliate
reality imbued within the context of ambiguity
which lends neither quality nor credence
to one's spiritual or mental acuity
of insanity, shadows fleeting and flitting
insanity, life's very essence
insanity, drawing and knitting our presence
blasted and bested
paid and invested
betrayed and rejected
accepted, projected
ignored and neglected
degraded, disgusted
perverted, annihilated
cleansed and protected
inebriated and inoculated
what one commits
to one's own conscience
is life's essence....
