That's exactly right, isn't it.
That's exactly how I felt, too.
For years.
And I tried to tell him.
And I wanted it to stop.
I wanted him to be better.
A nicer person.
But he wasn't,
and that wasn't my fault,
nor my responsibility.
I stayed longer than I should have.
Because I became angry, too.
And I used the words as well.
Eventually.
My daughter learned to say f*ck.
She learned to say "F*ck you"
She learned to say "You bitch"
When she was really little,
it was simply imitation.
She would yell with her fat little cheeks,
and you just had to smile,
no matter that she was mimicking;
a precursor.
